Welcome to St. Paul the Apostle!

Processional CrossAre you new to St. Paul?

Welcome!  We're a vibrant community of worship, service, and education.  We invite you to worship with us and experience the Eucharist with our beautiful choirs, friendly faces, and our joyful reverence for the Lord!  Parish registration is simple:  stop by the desk in the gathering space after Mass, and a volunteer will be happy to help you fill out the brief registration form.

Visiting the area?

St. Paul is located just 3 miles from Gurnee Mills, Key Lime Cove, and Six Flags.  Whether you are in town for a vacation or to celebrate a graduation from nearby Naval Station Great Lakes, we invite you to stop by for Mass or to spend a few quiet minutes with the Lord in our Eucharistic Chapel.  See the map for easy directions.

Daily Readings

Today's daily readings are available online from the U S Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Music

God is present when we lift our voices to sing praise. The Music Ministry at St. Paul's is a beautiful expression of the church at prayer in song.  We have many different ensembles, and all parishioners interested in music are invited to join.

Sacraments

Our sacramental life is the cornerstone of our identity as followers of Jesus.
  • Eucharist
  • Baptism
  • Confirmation
  • Reconciliation
  • Anointing of the Sick
  • Marriage

Education

Family Spiritual Formation

We call our children’s religious education program Family Spiritual Formation because we share our faith with children and their parents. We also host a SPRED (Special Religious Education) group which provides a nurturing faith community to children who are developmentally challenged and/or who have special needs.

Adult Education

If you are an adult, we have many dynamic opportunities to explore and investigate your faith.  Class details can be found here.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

If you are interested in the Catholic faith, or if you have not completed the Sacraments of Initiation, join us for RCIA classes.
