Family Spiritual Formation

Our Family Spiritual Formation program assists parents in the faith formation process for children ages K - 8.

Scroll down to find resources, links, calendars, and more!

Our high-school faith formation program is called Life Teen. It begins with Mass on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM during the school year, and after Mass the teens hang around for Life Night, an opportunity to gather with peers, share their faith, eat some crazy snacks, and have FUN!

Adult Formation

During the year, we offer formation classes for Adults that range from bible study to topical discussion groups. Bible study groups are held on Wednesday and Friday - check out the ministry directory for more information. As other classes are offered during the year, details will be posted here.

Resources for Make-Up Work

Greetings K – 6th Grade FSF Parents,

Many of you have asked us how we are going to make up the time that was lost when the pipes froze in our building. WE WILL NOT BE EXTENDING THE CLASS YEAR

Rather, we are asking our parents to put on their home-schooling hats. If you work with your children on the sections in their textbook pertaining to Lent and Holy Week, we will catch up on the missed learning. For students who are using Loyola Press textbooks, the sections on Lent and Holy Week are in the back of the book, in the section on Church Seasons. We are also asking you to participate in the Family Stations that Deacon Mike leads, as we will not be able to devote a week to Stations of the Cross in our classes. This are scheduled on the evening of March 18 at 4:30 pm (if you are busy on March 18, there are other Stations of the Cross prayer services that will be held most Tuesday evenings during Lent).

You are also encouraged to attend at least one Holy Week service as a family. Both the worship and learning experiences at these beautiful liturgies will help your children deepen their understanding of the Paschal Mystery.

We are also creating a Parent Resource table that will help you teach your children about this Church season, as well as Holy Week, the most important week in our Church’s year. The Resource table will share projects, facts and websites with you. It is located in front of the Parent Information bulletin board.

Another resource that we find very helpful is the website, This Loyola Press website can direct you to videos, art work and worksheets.

As usual, if you have questions, do not hesitate to contact us at 847-816-8677. We are hoping that this homeschooling project, while unexpected, will help your family grow in faith! Thank you.
